Safety and Compliance
Allen Babalu as the Safety and Compliance Manager (MSC) is accountable to the Chief Operating Officer but has a direct reporting line to the Chief Executive Officer in case of critical safety issues. The safety & compliance Manger is responsible to the Chief Operating Officer for effective and efficient implementation of duties and responsibilities
MSC role focused on ensuring airport operations adhere to safety standards and comply with Civil aviation rules.
Key functions:
Regulatory Compliance monitoring, Safety Management system, Risk Assessment & Mitigation, Training & Awareness, Incident Investigation, Emergency Preparedness and Collaboration with Stakeholders.
Head Of Aviation Security
Jennifer Kela as the Head of Aviation Security is responsible to the DCAASI/COO for the overall coordination of all AVSEC services.
Scope of Duties
Developing human resources, operating strategically, adapting leadership style and focus building and maintaining relationship, translating policies and achieving results.

Main Duties
- Bring to the attention of the administrators, Solomon Islands Police and other Government agencies and organisations operating on the airport, lapses and weaknesses in security and measures and recommend procedures for correction
- Conduct an initial comprehensive security survey and subsequent periodic inspection of the airport.
- Develop, modify and update the airport security programme to correct deficiencies and satisfy security needs of the airport
- Audit, inspect and test as appropriate the screening of passengers and cabin baggage for the purpose of achieving thoroughness and effectiveness
