Jennifer Kela as the Head of Aviation Security is responsible to the DCAASI/COO for the overall coordination of all AVSEC services.

Main Duties

Bring to the attention of the administrators, Solomon Islands Police and other Government agencies and organisations operating on the airport, lapses and weaknesses in security and measures and recommend procedures for correction
Conduct an initial comprehensive security survey and subsequent periodic inspection of the airport.
Develop, modify and update the airport security programme to correct deficiencies and satisfy security needs of the airport
Audit, inspect and test as appropriate the screening of passengers and cabin baggage for the purpose of achieving thoroughness and effectiveness
Direct and control the activities of civil aviation security in accordance with
