David Wright
David Wright is a New Zealand based professional company director, management consultant and former chief executive with a career spanning the corporate and state sectors. His experience includes the agribusiness, defence, electricity, water, employment, development agency health, internet, land transport, airport and maritime port operational sectors.
His current New Zealand directorships include chairing emergency air ambulance helicopter services, two water entities, development projects in the hop/craft beer and fishing sectors as well as renewable energy project in Tokelau. He has extensive experience establishing renewable energy and battery storage systems in sex Pacific Islands nations.
David chairs the SIACL board of directors having advised the Solomon Islands’ Government reform of the Solomon Islands airports establishing SIACL as a State-Owned Enterprise.
David is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand (Inc.) (CMInstD) and also undertakes interim Chief Executive assignments. His educational qualifications are Master of Business Administration (MBA), Massey University awarded with Distinction. Bachelor of Technology (Food) (Hons), Massey University.
